JEFFERSON CITY, MO (KTVI) – Missouri lawmakers approve a new budget. They removed language from the bill that would have been a roadblock to a new NFL stadium in St. Louis. They took out a provision requiring a vote on using public funds for the stadium.

Lawmakers also removed a ban on using state money to pay off bonds for the new stadium.

Governor Jay Nixon says he will give the budget a line-by- line review.
