An express train that travel from Thessaloniki to Belgrade, reportedly killed 14 migrants who were traveling illegally near town of Veles in Macedonia, police said in a statement on Friday. The tragic event, as police said, happened on Thursday night at about 10.30 p.m. CEST near the train stop points “Rajko Zinzifov” and “Pcinja.”
Police officers of the Veles police station and a public prosecutor of the town visited the scene, where they found, “death bodies” of 14 people of Afghanistan and Somalia on 150 meters on left and right along the train rails, police said in a statement. Police also detained other people who were illegally transiting the territory.
