Freshman Katie Mullin tripled to knock in the tying run, and then scored the winner in the bottom of the seventh to lift Pittsford Sutherland to a 2-1 win over rival Pittsford Mendon in Monroe Count softball on Friday.

Mullin tripled to knock in Jess Marini to tie the game at 1 for Sutherland (7-1).

Hannah Catallo-Stooks singled home Mullin to lift the Knights.

Nicole Carty pitched a six-hitter with six strikeouts for the win.

Shannon Grage went 3-for-3 with an RBI for Mendon.
