In Acts 8:26-30, we read that Philip, in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit, goes along the desert road and runs over to an Ethiopian eunuch’s chariot that he sees on the way. He does not know what each step he takes in obeying the Voice of God will lead him to. But this is immaterial to him. He knows enough that when God speaks, he must obey.
Acts 8:30-31 NKJV
30 So Philip ran to him [the Ethiopian eunuch], and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”
31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.
